Hi folks it has been an AAAAAGE! but i am actually still alive, still kicking and still painting.
Life caught up to me in a big way and painting fell off while i dealt with it. nothing bad, no sob stories to share and no massive dramas. Just life :)
Painting has been going on in the absence of posting but unfortunately most of it is away with friends and customers already and with no foresight in taking pictures of them first. D'oh!
But I am back in the saddle, paint has been flowing and a couple of commissions are in various states of progression. My Guard army are a few figures closer to being finished but still a couple hundred to go ;)
My painting dungeon is now my office for work too and is now slightly tidier than previously posted :)
The only thing i am struggling with getting decent lighting for taking pictures of my minis so if anyone out there has a suggestion give me a shout out!
Stay frosty and i'll hopefully i'll be back with some pics and progress to share!

My little corner of the web, dedicated to my hobby and ramblings. I play most Games Workshop games including their specialist range and have recently started playing RPG';s. I am always looking to improve and take my painting up a notch and any C&C are welcome :)

Oh dear, where has the time gone?!
Hi folks,
You may not remember me, I'm Apoc and this is my blog, I know i haven't been here much lately but "Real life" seems to have stolen me away for quite some time...
Sorry it has been a while but life has really been hectic with finishing college, far too many hospital trips, starting University and trying to be a husband/father. More recently however it has been getting ready for my new baby daughter and future gamer and geek, just like her old man :)
Anyway, I have managed to get some painting done, albeit very slowly and far too little for my liking but with the baby now here I MUST get organized and get my paint station cleared of projects, commissions and unpainted miniatures! (sorry for the poor pics, it was getting dark)

As you can see things are in a fair bit of disarray!
The work i have managed to do has been on the Necromantic team that has featured on this blog lately (relatively speaking of course!). First up a recap of the previously completed chaps:
I have got a few new recruits to add to them (sans bases):
The zombies are well on their way to being completed with only 3 left to paint up:
I have also put some work into the Werewolves, they need some finishing but are looking good so far (if i do say so myself):
Finally the back room staff:
These will be get some paint as soon as i have rested up from the baby ordeal and i hope to have them done within the next few days.
Next up I have some more Hero Quest miniatures to paint in addition to some space crusade. the Hero Quest minis are to replace the last lot that i posted on here which Royal Mail kindly lost and I stupidly lost my receipt (won't happen again couriers to be used from now on!) I have managed to track down replacements for most of them but still need some men-at-arms and the ogres for the Ogre Horde expansion.
I also put some paint to a stripped ogre from my huge army, the pics are bad and the mini is not finished but he will be the template for the rest of the big guy's' strip and repaint:
Right, I am off to get some much needed sleep, thanks for stopping by!

Necromantic Blood Bowl, Imperial Guard and Pathfinder
Hi folks,
Back again after a messy few weeks of "real life" stuff, I am back and painting again :)
Have been getting on with the Blood Bowl Necromantic team, and have taken some pics of where I stand with them so far.
The finished (except for basing) players:
The next victims ready to take some painting:
And these fellas waiting to get there gaps green stuffed and paint on:
I am hoping to get the Werewolves and staff completed my Wednesday or next weekend at the latest, so that I can finish the zombie conversions and get them primed and ready for painting soon after.
I also had a couple of days of inspired painting with my Imperial Guard army and churned out a ton of troops :
I also tried my hand with some conversions too:
I am really happy with how the conversions have turned out, they just need green stuffing to finish them off before i can paint them up.
And here is a random shot of what I can Field at the moment:
I have also painted up a few pathfinder minis for my GM and other players in my group, the GM stuff is for an ongoing campaign he runs on a Sunday and so i cannot post them here just yet, just in case they are spotted before they are meant to be and I feel the wrath of the GM's months of forward planning!
I can however post this banjo toting Dwarf Bard I painted up for another player:
There is probably more stuff I have done and forgotten about but that's my own fault for infrequent posting on this blog, I will as always try my best to be more regular.
Stay frosty people,
Apoc
